North Shore Boardriders is one of the longest running board riding clubs in Australia, having been founded in the late 60′s by a group of Redcliffe surfers. Members at that stage made the trip on weekends to camp and surf at North Coast beaches – thus the club name.

Today it boasts over 100 members ranging from grommets to veterans, participating in various club days on the Sunshine Coast, and numerous state wide competitions across the year.

It's been a busy few weeks with NSB taking part in the Australian Boardriders Battle held at Burleigh Heads at the beginning of March, followed by the Kirra Teams Challenge held at Kirra Beach two weeks later.

Burleigh Heads has turned it on for the Hyundai Australian Boardriders Battle Grand Final with 30,000 spectators lining the famous point-break to watch the home town heroes take the win.

North Shore Boardriders win the Hyundai ABB Queensland Qualifier

North Shore Boardriders have been crowned champions at the Hyundai Australian Boardriders Battle (ABB) Queensland qualifier, held at Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast in challenging 3-4ft waves. Fifteen of Queensland’s best boardrider clubs battled for one of six positions in the Grand Final which has been moved to the iconic Burleigh Heads on the 9th and 10th of March, 2024.

2022 10 Toes Winter Classic is a wrap. We were greeted by a small south east swell on dawn which grew throughout the incoming tide and doubled in size by the end of the day. There was some great heats and matchups throughout the day in all divisions.
