Reigning national champions North Shore Boardriders have taken out the 2020 nudie Australian Boardriders Battle QLD qualifier today, which was held at Duranbah Beach on the Gold Coast in punchy 2ft waves. North Shore defeated Snapper Rocks, Noosa and Burleigh Boardriders respectively in a nail-biting final. All four teams will now head to the national final to be held in 2021 (details TBC).

The nudie Australian Boardriders Battle is the biggest grassroots boardriders event in Australian surfing history. It will involve more than 100 of Australia’s best boardriders clubs in eight State qualifying rounds and will culminate in a two day National Final for 24 clubs.
